Privacy at Shiyong Toolkit
What happens to pasted text, selected images, language choices, and tool favorites.
Text and image conversion
JSON, Base64, URL, timestamp, and text operations run in the open page. Selecting an image lets the page read that file to create its preview and encoded output. The tool code does not upload your input or the selected image to an application server. An invalid input can produce a visible error, but the error is not submitted to a remote logging service by this code.
Input drafts are held in page memory. Reloading or closing the page can discard them. A browser extension or a person using the same device may have access outside this tool’s control, so local processing should not be treated as a guarantee that the surrounding device is private.
Preferences that survive a visit
The language choice and favorite tool identifiers are saved in this browser’s local storage. They do not include your pasted JSON or image contents. Remove a favorite using its star button, or clear this website’s site data in browser settings to remove the stored preferences. Private browsing or blocked storage can prevent them from persisting.
These preferences are specific to the browser profile and site address. Opening a local file, using a different domain, or changing device does not create a synchronized account.
Copying and downloading
Copy acts on the selected conversion output and writes it to the clipboard when the browser permits that action. Download creates a file on your device. Once copied or downloaded, the content can be handled by your operating system, other applications, or your chosen storage location. Clearing site preferences does not remove downloaded files or clear another application’s clipboard history.
Website requests and outside links
Loading the hosted website sends ordinary web requests to its host. Those requests can include an IP address, requested path, browser information, and time. Operational logs are handled by the hosting provider; they are separate from tool inputs. A link to another website opens a separately operated service with its own data practices.
Advertising and contact messages
This version contains no advertising code, analytics service, or site-set tracking cookies. Browser storage is used for the preferences described above. If those services change, this notice needs to describe the services actually enabled.
An email you choose to send is processed by your email provider and the receiving mailbox provider. It can include your address, message, and attachments. Use a small invented example when reporting a conversion error; do not send a production API token or a private customer record.
